Real estate is more than just a job for me; it is a 24/7 passion I use to help you fulfill your dreams. Whether you’re seeking a short term rental or looking to buy your “forever” house, I am the tireless advisor who works well into the night helping you find the right home, the right community and the right price. On the flip side of the real estate process I am the consummate marketer who is always trying to find new ways to attract interest and a high price for your property – and these days that’s as likely to be through the Internet as anywhere else.

A long time resident of Ridgefield and other Connecticut towns, I view my award-winning real estate career as a logical extension of my life and work activities. There hasn’t been a house I’ve owned where I haven’t taken on a significant remodeling project. My work as a reporter and bureau chief for the Hartford Courant took me all across the state and gave me a great appreciation and understanding of just how different Connecticut’s 169 towns and cities really are. Motherhood and a desire to achieve a better work-life balance took me from the newsroom and into communications/marketing/public relations consulting and freelance writing. Today I use those skills to develop successful marketing plans, materials and campaigns.  Through it all, I’ve proven to be a reliable manager who takes a broad view of a situation and finds creative solutions that work.

I’ve lived longer in Ridgefield than anywhere else in my life (though parts of NJ come close). It is here I have raised my two daughters and developed close ties within the community. The flexibility of my chosen careers enabled me to actively participate in any number of organizations including the American Cancer Society, National Charity League, Ridgefield Youth Soccer, the Wilton Y Wahoos and Ridgefield High School Cross Country and Track teams. Currently I am reviving an avid interest in gardening, have trained my Pug/Jack Russell mix as a therapy dog and, thanks to my eldest daughter, have taken up running.

In real estate, too, my interests are expanding. I am a founder and active member of a Ridgefield networking group focused on helping the so-called “sandwich generation” and others figure out the best ways to age in place for themselves or older relatives. Whether this means helping to move a elderly parent closer to an adult child or simply helping a current resident find a plumber, I use my skills as a Senior Real Estate Specialist to find solutions and make connections.

When you get down to it, that’s really what real estate is all about -- making connections and finding solutions. That’s what makes it my passion and not simply a job. I am looking to build relationships, not just transactions.
